if you may try, Antonin Artaud, born in france in the 1890s and moved to mexico, lived with the tarahumaras, and was then sent to an asylum in ireland due to his unrelativeness to living. his poetry is centered on the rythmic and the form of the words, making the comprehension of it unecessary, rather, listening to the roll of the words.
(there is also a prize in Mexico for authors who are relatively touching his comprehension)
